Kerio Phone is a self-contained softphone application on your computer, capable of making calls through your office phone system.
Setting up Kerio Phone
The first step to making calls is setting up your Kerio Phone application.
When you launch the application, you will be prompted to add an account:
Click the Add Account button.
You must know three things: your username, your password, and the server.
The Server is phones.skyword.com
The Username and Password will be supplied by email.
Enter all three of these and then click Login.
Notifications & Microphone Access
In addition to logging in, for the application to work correctly, you will need to give it access to your Notifications, your Microphone, and if you want to do video calling, your Camera.
To do this, open the menu with your name at the upper right and click Settings.
In the General Tab, click the Enable call notifications checkbox.
Click the button marked Test. In the upper right corner, you will be asked if you want to allow Kerio Phone to display Notifications. Click Allow.
Next, to give it permissions for your Microphone or Camera, click the Sound and Video tab.
This should prompt your computer to ask to use your Microphone and Camera. Please grant the Microphone for absolute certain. You can choose whether or not to allow your Camera access.
